“Never Forget You,” shows pretty clearly Lupe’s new pop direction, tempered well with the soulful John Legend’s vocals. Sort of a more downplayed version of label-mate B.o.B. but assuredly catchy given Lupe’s track record of hits, it makes me hope for more releases very soon from 2011’s Lasers.
